Any time that someone stops taking an addictive drug they are going to have withdrawal symptoms. The body becomes dependent on the drug to function and when it’s no longer getting the drug it has to learn to function without it. The best way to get off Wellbutrin or any other drug is to do it gradually. Instead of suddenly stopping intake of the drug, reduce the dosage by small amounts over several weeks time.
i find the best way to stop is just to stop. one can have symptoms even while taking the medicine. withdrawal can take place
as the effect of the drug weakens.
